Totally agree; Favignana is my favourite place in Sicily, but please don’t tell everyone about it! Especially don’t mention the fantastic seafood restaurants, and the absence of overseas tourists.
These are some great recs! Shoulder season off the beaten track travel is where it's at. Went to Albania, Estonia, and Georgia in recent years all of which were lovely and very easy to be in.
Favignana island off of Sicily is a nice alternative to Pantelleria and a lot closer. 30 min from Trapani (also great).
