Are we all sharing our favorite chore jackets?! My current favorite is the Engineered Garments Workaday jacket, it's a nice, relaxed, boxy fit: https://independence-chicago.com/eg-workaday-utility-jacket-dark-navy-cotton-reverse-sateen/

The EG Bedford jacket is great too, but that one is a tad bit less casual because of the lapels.

Just bought my first French-inspired chore coat from Paynter Jackets! Love their whole concept: made-to-order and updates sent throughout the construction process. Can’t wait for it to get colder in DC so that I can enjoy it 🥰 https://paynter.co.uk/collections/batch-no-18-the-five-year-anniversary-chore-jacket

I got a Vetra chore coat - except the length of a car coat - from the late, great Present, in Shoreditch a few years back. The variation (as with your db) makes all the difference.
